Bengaluru, September 12: India fast bowler Jhulan Goswami became the first woman to pick up 300 international wickets when she had Nipuni Hansika caught behind during India’s first ODI against Sri Lanka at the Galle International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Goswami, now 35, made her India debut in January 2002. Since then she has picked up 301 wickets across three formats of the game. She has 40 wickets in ten Tests, 205 scalps in 170 ODIs and 56 victims in 68 T20Is. She recently announced her retirement from T20Is.
