Jakarta, August 27: India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra bagged an historic gold at the ongoing Asian Games here on Monday.

Neeraj sealed the gold medal throwing 83.46 metres in his first attempt. China’s Liu Qizhen was a distant second with a best throw of 82.22m while archrival Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem took home a bronze with an 80.75 effort.
