Bengaluru, May 2: The 21-year-old Bengaluru racer Arjun Maini has signed up with Finnish management firm e-Ace International, on Thursday.
The J.K. Racing-backed youngster, who earlier this year confirmed his intention to compete in the 2019 edition of the 24 Hours of LeMans, will now be supported by the fast growing Finnish firm who have a global presence and a proven track record of helping drivers reach their ultimate professional objectives in motorsports.
Arjun who will become the company’s first Asian recruit said, “The guys at e-Ace International come with a wealth of experience, they pitched a few very interesting ideas to us and we were sold on their long-term vision for my career, my ultimate goal is still to race in Formula One someday and I’m looking forward to working with e-Ace International to help me get there.”
Firm founder Tomas Siltanen added, “We are extremely happy to sign Arjun to our management and coaching program. We have been following him for a couple of years now and are convinced that he has a great potential to be the next big Indian name in the world of motorsport. Now we will do lots of work and put in our best efforts to build his career and support his goals; we also want people to understand how valuable he is for the future of motorsport in India.We believe that with our experience and his talent we can reach the goals and he will become a professional driver.”
