Cricket for blind: India have it easy over England

Bengaluru, October 2: Sunil Ramesh (108) scored an uneaten century to help India record a seven-wicket win over England in the opening fixture of the International Bilateral T20I Cricket Series for Blind here on Tuesday.

Batting first, visitors England amassed a competitive 150/7 in 20 overs. Peter Blueit top-scored with 40 while Justin made 22.

In reply, India raced to target with just 75 balls. Supporting Ramesh, Nakul contributed 27. With this win, India took a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series.

Brief scores: England 150/7 20 overs (Peter Blueit 40, Justin 22) lost to India 152/3 in 12.3 overs (Sunil Ramesh 108 not out, Nakul 27) by 7 wickets.
