Dhaka, October 7: Harsh Tyagi’s six-wicket haul powered India U-19s to a huge 144-run victory over Sri Lanka U-19s in the final of the U-19 Asia Cup here on Sunday.
Electing to bat first at the Shere Bangla Cricket Stadium, India rode on knocks from Yashaswi Jaiswal (85), Anuj Rawat (57), Devdutt Padikkal (31), Simran Singh (65 not out) and Ayush Badoni (52 not out) to post a huge 304 for 3 in 50 overs.
In reply, Sri Lanka were derailed by Tyagi to be bowled out for a mere 160. Supporting Tyagi, Siddharth Desai took two wickets for the champs.
